Can undergraduate students submit samples for analysis?
Yes — with your supervisor's approval. Select your role and describe your course or thesis context in the inquiry form.
Is the first method consultation really free?
We provide free initial feasibility and method guidance within 48 hours. Paid analysis or demo scheduling is quoted separately.
What sample types can portable XRF handle in a university lab?
Solids and powders with flat surfaces work best — alloys, soils, rocks, ceramics, and metals. Liquids require special sample cups; very light elements (e.g. C, O) are not detectable.
How do we join the Lab Connect partner network?

Can Specelex data be used in published research?
Yes, with proper method citation. We provide PDF reports with instrument metadata. Confirm critical results with certified lab methods as required by your journal.
